It’s spring color challenge time! This time Mandi challenged us with the color purple! Now, you may have noticed that I virtually never use purple on this here blog. I don’t necessarily dislike the color, I just never seem to pick it! But you gotta admit… this lilac-y shade is just kind of perfect for spring. And even more perfect for Easter!!! And so with this post, we begin the Easter bonanza that Studio DIY will slowly turn in to over the next month.. and what better a way to start it off than with confetti dipped Easter eggs!?
Eggs, Hard-boiled or Hollowed Out
Craft Paint
Paint Brushes
Drying Rack (Optional, but makes life so easy!)
Decoupage Glue/Mod Podge
Foil Confetti (I buy mine locally at a party store but find similar here and here!)
First you gotta paint those eggs! Let them dry completely.
Once dry, apply a thin coat of mod podge to the part of the egg you want covered in confetti. Then immediately sprinkle confetti over the mod podge till it’s covered! Let dry completely on the drying rack again.
And yes, folks, it’s as simple as that.

I’m kinda lovin’ on that lilac paired with the gold, how about you!? I have another confetti-themed Easter DIY cookin’ up in my brain, too. So stay tuned!
